Waldorf School Extension

Responsible architect: Lőrinc Csernyus

Co-worker, 3D visualization: Bence Várnai

This project was assigned to Menyus by the school board. Organic architecture is very much in line with the philosophy of Waldorf Schools. The plan was to extend the existing monolithic property with a 3-roomed kindergarten into the rear and the front yards. For the concept plans, I used a hand drawing technique learned from my teacher. This helped break the monotony superbly. I was busy with this project for most of the 6 months I spent in the Triskell Studio. We managed to finish the concept plan. The planning was carried on by the "vagabonds" who came after me. This project also gave me the opportunity to use my creativity on a larger scale.
